This course is compulsory. It is offered to all B.SC. students who get the high scores, or pass the placement test. It  mainly aims to help students improve their reading and writing skills. Students need to rely heavily on their reading skills to cope with the requirements of their university studies. As well it gives the students an opportunity to practice and develop their writing and speaking abilities through class discussion and making a group project using technology-based learning methods.
